TIMOTHY LEE – Toastmaster, Master of Ceremonies, Presenter, Announcer and Compere.
Tim qualified as a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies from the UK School of Professional Toastmasters in April 2002. Since then he has officiated at numerous Weddings, Formal Dinners, Charity Functions, Masonic Ladies Festivals and Corporate events across the UK.
Having worked Banking and Financial Services for over 37 years, Tim retired in April 2017. He moved into the events industry as General Manager of Sindlesham Court in 2018, before becoming Head os Sales in 2021.
He was one of the founder members of the Association of the UK School of Professional Toastmasters (AUKSPT), which is affiliated to the Toastmaster General Council (TGC), and was Treasurer from 2006-2010 and again from 2018. In 2019 he was elected the Junior Vice President of the Association, 2020 Senior Vice President and in 2021 President.
The Association has a membership of approximately 30 Professional Toastmasters. This enables Tim to call on Colleagues to cover events in the case of illness or other unavoidable circumstances. The Association provides Public liability Insurance which every venues would expect a Toastmaster to have.
Tim has an expert knowledge of officiating at Masonic Functions. He was initiated into Cookham Manor Lodge No. 4191 in 1988 and became Master for the 1st time in 1997. He has subsequently been through the Chair of that Lodge on a further two occasions in 2011 and 2015 as well as Master of Marcellians Lodge No 4450 in 2003.
He has received Provincial Honours in both the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire and was Provincial Grand Treasurer of Berkshire for 5 years until 2015. In September 2016 he was made a Trustee of the Berkshire Masonic Charity, and in September 2017 was appointed Provincial Senior Grand Warden for Berkshire. In April 2019 he was appointed to Grand Rank as Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies
