Tim has an expert knowledge of officiating at Masonic Functions

Tim has an expert knowledge of officiating at Masonic Functions. He was initiated into Cookham Manor Lodge No. 4191 in 1988 and became Master for the 1^st time in 1997. He has subsequently been through the Chair of Cookhan Manor Lodge on a further two occasions in 2011 and 2015 as well as Master of Marcellians Lodge No 4450 in 2003. He is now a member of Cookham Manor Lodge No 4191, Penn and Tylers Green Lodge No 5876, Princes Risborough Chapter No 5203 and Caduceus Lodge of Mark Master Mason No 1631 as well as the Berkshire Masters Lodge No3684

He has received Provincial Honours in both the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire and was Provincial Grand Treasurer of Berkshire for 5 years until 2015. In September 2016 he was made a Trustee of the Berkshire Masonic Charity, and in September 2017 was appointed Provincial Senior Grand Warden for Berkshire. In April 2019 he was appointed to Grand Rank of Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies.

Before the Event:

A planning meeting at your venue to discuss your requirements in detail and agree on the timetable of events.
A written agreement detailing the timetable for the evening.
Unlimited contact by phone and email as required.

On the evening:

Will arrive early to ensure everything has been set up to your specification.
Receive your guests
Receive and escort the President and his Lady on arrival at the venue
Organise a Receiving Line if required
Announce and escort the President and his Lady to the Top Table
Say Grace before the meal
Introduce the informal taking of wine
Ensure that Table Stewards are aware of their responsibilities
Organise the sale of raffle tickets
Co-ordinate the presentation of Ladies’ Gifts
Sing the Ladies Song
Introduce formal speeches and presentation of Gifts
Formally close the dinner and prepare for the dancing
Organise the drawing of the raffle
Close the evening as required with Auld Lang Syne, the National Anthem and ‘for he’s a jolly good fellow’

Tim can also help with other activities such as Auctions, ‘heads and tails’ or other fundraising activities.
